Trump: I should get all the credit for any Republican wins and none of the blame for losses [1]

“Heads, I win. Tails, you lose.” That’s essentially what TFG said in a video-taped interview yesterday (Tuesday, election day). When asked how much he thinks Republicans' victories or losses in the midterms will be because of him, Trump replied:
"I think if they win, I should get all the credit, and if they lose, I should not be blamed at all."
And the people who worship him think he’s tough and a strong leader?
Later in the interview, Trump also takes credit for Ron DeSantis’ victory, while being sure to point out how ungrateful the person he recently childishly nicknamed “DeSanctamonius “ was.
While the outcome of the mid-terms may finally awaken the Republican Party to the fact that aligning with Trump is guaranteed to produce more electoral losses than victories, I’m frightened by the prospect of an empowered DeSantis.
On a slightly different tangent, if the Republicans begin to distance themselves from Trump, I wonder how might this impact the DOJ’s willingness to indict the prick.
