I live in a small town in Northwest Georgia in the 14th District. Two years ago MTG’s signs were everywhere. This year, far, far, fewer. That doesn’t mean people aren’t going to vote for her, but it does mean they may be less enthusiastic about her. Same thing with Herschel’s signs: there are very, very, few. Kemp has more signs than either Greene or Herschel, but not as many as four years ago.

I drove past two polling places this morning, one in Walker County and the other in Catoosa County, both hard core Trumpist areas. Very little activity in either place, plenty of parking places available, no sign of any lines, whereas two years ago both places were mobbed. Doesn’t look as if the MAGAs are coming out since their orange idol isn’t on the ballot.

Maybe I happened by at a quiet time (10-11 am, though), but maybe this is a good omen!
