It's pretty much a free for all kibitzing session at my house, dogs on the tables, cats on the chairs & counters

OMG! Recovery is slow! I have to keep reminding myself that I had surgery a month ago, 10 days after being in quite the car accident. Oh, and that I’m old. I hate reminders of that!

So far, I’ve been cleared to lift 10lbs. Whee! I got yelled at for asking if I could rake — NO! I can’t clean house, walk my dogs, or anything involving my right arm. I was thinking of walking alone but that doesn’t seem fair to my dogs, so I stay put.

I can drive. I have a friends 2004 Subaru with 210,000 miles on it. It’s an automatic, drives a bit like a boat, but I’m very thankful to have the use of it. It’s low to the ground so, easy for my still-swollen-from-the-car-accident legs to get in and out of.

Driving makes me pretty jumpy but then so does riding in anyone’s car. I keep hearing and feeling BANG! BANG! When people come up close behind me, I freak a bit.
