I have been pounding the pavement doing GOTV for days up here in Nevada County, California, one of the swingiest house districts in the country.
This is what it looked like Sunday morning when our great candidate Dr. Kermit Jones showed up to rally the troops. This is a tiny satellite office. They were inundated with volunteers. People are fired up!
I was going to stop there, but I HAVE to write a note about my favorite Kansas candidate — who called me out of the blue 2 months ago to ask for my support. I live In California! Former Navy Intelligence officer Patrick Schmidt is just not having it - the attack on our democracy, the assault on women’s rights - so he is running for the House in a red district in Kansas. He is brave, relentless — the future of the party- and let’s face it, he’s COMPLETELY ADORABLE. See below.
Which I told him over the phone and I swear I could hear him blush. The privileges of geezerhood.
He keeps me posted on his campaign and on Thursday night he totally killed it in his debate. Called his opponent out big time and seriously made himself the future of the Party. kansasreflector.com/…
