the falling leaves are such fun playthings

the autumn leaves that I can catch

I watch them fall, and flutter downwards

and hide inside a crunchy patch.

They match my coloring, so photogenic

but rustle loud, and spoil my hunt.

but oh such joy to pounce upon them

I’ll just stay here, and watch the fun.

PS, Peeps, don’t forget to “fall back” tonight. Sleep in an extra hour tomorrow!
