I have watched a succession of community posts presenting dodgy polls, far right media opinion and vaguely expressed ‘how I feels’ as if they amount to information. Even when presented with the facts the Debbie Downers persist.

What I'm seeing:
- Ds continue to overperform in polls/early vote in the Senate battlegrounds
- Early vote remains very encouraging for Ds
- Marist polls another problem for red wave narrative

Sorry but I don’t give a flying fck about your feels. The reality, the scientific reality, is that seat after seat is within range providing Dems double down on the effort over the last weekend. We know that inflation and social security are close in mind for MAGA Lite and Independents; we know that that galloping fascism is important to Dems . . . so ffs get on the case on those issues while you still can.
Now I would follow with an extended rant, but I have a rather tiresome case of pneumonia and the antibiotics keep making me topple. I note though that I won’t be spending the remaining weekend allowing fascist media to live rent free inside my somewhat congested head.
