NY County Supreme Court Judge Appoints Monitor of Trump Organization [1]

In a major victory for NY AG Letitia James, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron approved the appointment of a monitor for the Trump Organization on Thursday, November 3, 2022. The monitor will oversee Trump Organization financial statements and reports. The ruling also forbids the Organization from transferring any non-cash assets without notifying the court and the AG’s office. In rejecting the Trump Organization’s claim that the NY AG lacked standing to bring the fraud case against it, Donald J.
