Avoid the long lines on Election Day by voting today.
Depending on where you live, your early voting opportunities are today, tomorrow or maybe Sunday. After that, you only have one option, Election Day. Odds are the lines will be longer. And if all the so-called experts are right, you’re more likely to be standing next to a MAGAt. (YMMV)
So get yourself, your household, and anyone you know who may need assistance to the polls. At my precinct in NC, accommodations were made for the elderly and disabled who were not able to stand in line. Poll workers would bring the ballot to them in their car if they were parked in parking spaces set aside for that purpose. (I recognize that this isn’t available everywhere. Find out what is in your state and precinct.) If you have a family member or neighbor who can’t stand in line, help them find a solution. Rent a wheelchair. Many of today’s walker/strollers come with a seat, allowing them to walk a bit and then sit a bit etc. Help them out. Often time each party has a tent or table close to the polling place, donate a wheelchair, walker or stroller they can provide to voters.
