I remember back seeing pictures from a Trump rally where two fat guys were wearing t-shirts that said “I’d rather be Russian then Democrat”. Flash forward to the midterms where one of the principal issues is inflations and many Republicans are set to flush democracy down the drain for the pennies, they will gain in the belief that the GOP will right economic policy. This is the same GOP that passed the Trump tax cuts that only benefitted millionaires and billionaires. The same GOP that was going to fix infrastructure, and never did. I know things aren’t great for many people, most families have two income earners just to make ends meet. But compare the situation in America to Russia, or any other autocracy, which is where the GOP wants to take us. There is no one clamoring to own a Russian car or any other Russian vehicle, you also don’t see Chinese cars on our roads. There is no Russian Disney Land, no resort called Lenin Land. The GOP plans to fix the economy and raise your standard of living by eliminating Medicare and Social Security, ask the Senator from Florida Rick Scott. I know I’m railing to an audience that agrees with me because you are on this platform, but you are the only ones I can talk to. Things are economically tough in our country, yet we are better off than the rest of the world, we still have people trying to enter our country legally and otherwise. I the past we have sacrificed, and we survived, but we had a plan. The GOP has no plan, and will not allow or pass a plan, and those that are suffering economic woes now will only find greater suffering. In the past Democrats have come back to fix the economic ruin Republicans have inflicted, but now Republicans are instituting rules and regulations to ensure they never lose another election.
