It does seem difficult to find jurors who don’t have strong feelings about Donald Trump in NYC; “it's reportedly because they feared jurors would pummel him.” Recall that Trump was worried about the lethality of thrown fruit.
Donald Trump worried that "dangerous" fruits could be flung at him by protesters, ...
"It's very dangerous stuff," Trump said in the deposition, invoking a fruit-basket worth of potential projectiles, including tomatoes, pineapples, and, perplexingly, bananas. "You can get killed with those things," he said.
Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday reached a settlement with a group of protesters who filed a lawsuit alleging they were assaulted by his security guards outside of Trump Tower in 2015, lawyers for both sides said.
The attorneys did not disclose details on the terms of the settlement, which came as the case was in the middle of jury selection.

The suit stems from an incident in September 2015, when a group protesting then-candidate Trump’s comments about Mexican immigrants allege Trump’s security guards assaulted them on the sidewalk outside Trump’s Fifth Avenue building. The suit charges that Trump’s head of security (Keith Schiller) punched one of the protesters in the head while trying to wrest away his “Make America racist again” sign.

After three days of struggling to find jurors who didn’t already have strong feelings about former President Donald Trump and his eponymous company—a difficult undertaking in liberal New York City—defense lawyers at the last minute chose to settle.
Minutes after Justice Andrew Cohen sent potential jurors out to lunch at midday, Trump Organization lawyers approached the protesters who filed the suit and presented them with a stack of papers that they quietly signed.
A lawyer representing the Trump Organization, Jeffrey Goldman, was overheard telling the judge that everything was golden—and that nearly everyone had finished signing “the agreement.”
