John In Ghana Had Cancer Surgery Today [1]

Just a quick note because I don’t have much information yet.
I have spoken of John before. He works to help the desperately needy in some of the poorest areas in the nation of Ghana. There are literally people alive today because he has helped when they came asking for his help.
John himself is very poor and often spends what little he has on others and goes hungry himself. But he has had a continuing health problem and it almost overwhelmed him a few weeks ago. He nearly died of it, and the doctors said that he absolutely had to have surgery. There was simply no way it could be put off any longer if he wanted to survive.
I came to the community here for help and they responded so warmly and so generously that we raised the money for his surgery in a matter of hours. I sent the funds on to John and his surgery was scheduled for 9 AM this morning, Ghana time.
Just a few hours ago John sent me a message that the surgery had been successful and he was on the road to recovery. He wanted to go home this afternoon but the doctors told him he had to stay for another day or so. But it looks like he will be okay.
I am so relieved, and so grateful.
I have only this bare information right now. When I know more I will add that, probably in the comments section below as it comes in. And I Know John will want to thank you also.
Thank you all, not only those who could help with the funding but those who gave prayers, positive thoughts, meditations, and caring. Caring truly matters.
Now perhaps John can start to live again.
