Hello! After a good week’s break, I’m temporarily back, just in time to give you all a special Halloween Night Thread!
For those who’ve been here during the grand opening, welcome back. For the newcomers, welcome to the NightDrifter’s Nightly Pub! This is the place to listen to some music and unwind yourself, post some good news and talk about any projects or plans you have for either the next day or the upcoming week. This place is heavily inspired by the Night Owl Blogs that used to pop up on the site as well as a bit of Good News Roundup’s evening blog and I wanted to try my own spin at it as well as give people a place to unwind and relax as well as to talk.
If you like music, want to unwind, de-stress and talk with your fellow Kossacs without the stress of life, come on in, as we could all use a relaxing space; Leave all your worries and troubles behind here.
Here’s my three piece of good news and I’m sure most Kossacs have seen it: Lula stages astonishing comeback to beat far-right Bolsonaro in Brazil election!
On one hand, the fact that Lula JUST eked out a win is deeply concerning since Bolsonaro was causing so much destruction that would make a COBRA from G.I Joe blush among other things and another thing is that despite winning, Brazil has a long road to recovery as well as the Amazon.
But on the other side of the coin, despite the blatant Voter Suppression and not counting cheating, as Dom (Vin Diesel) from The Fast and the Furious spectacularly puts it:
It doesn’t take Lula’s win away, regardless if it was close race, which it was or a rout-out, Brazilians has a chance to at least heal up and repair the damage Bolsonaro caused and hopefully, Brazil learned their lesson. To me, if I remember, Italy slid further down the dark path and Brazil got back on the correct path; Next week is going to tell the world which road we go down.

Update: Going forward, while I’ll be adding alternative music, such as classical or decade focused music, like the 80s or 90s in the foreseeable future along with some jazz and even my own music selected musical mix, you can bring your own or suggest something to me and I’ll add it on the next night blog. The point of this blog is to be a small resting place before bed time as well as to one day, have this on the main page as a Nightly Owl Blog.
Anyway, After today, synchronize your watches, because in just a Week, it’ll be one of the most consequential Midterms of our very lives so ignore the noise and GOTV!
Since today’s Halloween, no soothing music, but more fitting music for today and on that note,
