We’re almost down to the wire here, but there’s still time to make a difference before the November midterms, and Daily Kos has the best way to make a financial impact: Donate to our Election Protection slate.

This slate features 17 Democrats running for three crucial posts in eight key states: secretary of state, attorney general, and state supreme court. The people who hold these positions are responsible for running our elections, defending our democracy, and maintaining the rule of law. Republican extremists are determined to get their hands on all of them so that they can restrict abortion rights, greenlight voter suppression, and, above all else, help Donald Trump steal the 2024 election.

The reason why these races can benefit so much from last-minute donations, though, is because, despite their importance, they all have small budgets—often just $1 million to $2 million. This means that grassroots donors can get a huge bang for their buck by giving to these candidates while also striking a blow in defense of our country.

But there’s really no more time to wait. Please give $10, $100—hell, even $200 if you can afford it—to the Daily Kos Election Protection slate right now!

P.S. Are you also looking for ways to help with mobilizing voters directly? Check out the Daily Kos Get Out The Vote page for opportunities in your area or virtually.
