Then, on the rest of the menu, the American Rescue Plan helped 200,000 child care providers stay open; the Federal Trade Commission is taking the rare step of bringing individual sanctions against the CEO of alcohol delivery company Drizly for data privacy abuses; and, the sheriff in metropolitan Phoenix has stepped up security around ballot drop boxes after armed Trump supporters intimidated voters.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Japan has stepped up its push to get the public to buy-in to digital IDs; and, hundreds of Syrian men and boys were detained, beaten and forcibly returned to their country by Turkish authorities over a six-month period.
