No new review this week, but the usual capsule descriptions of the week’s interesting nonfiction releases is below. Of course, the big nonfiction announcement this week was Bob Woodward’s
release of the audio of his interviews with Trump, The Trump Tapes. You can hear some of the audio in in these two articles in the Washington Post. The links should be free for all to read. There’s What the ‘Trump Tapes’ reveal about Bob Woodward, by Elahe Izadi. And there’s Woodward’s initial article about releasing the tapes: The Trump Tapes: 20 interviews that show why he is an unparalleled danger. It’s excruciating listening to Trump’s voice.
Of course, Trump himself is outraged that Woodward released the tapes:
