Hear women roar when they exercise their freedom of choice on November 8th [1]

While hunting, contrary to Hollywood dramatization, the lioness does not roar…their prey does not know what kills them until it’s too late. The thunderous uproar from SCOTUS overturning Roe v. Wade may seem to have subsided, but the anger behind it has not. Perhaps pollsters are not reaching the right women or asking the right questions, but women voters of all ages are stalking anti-choice candidates to ensure they never get into office.
The effects of the Dobbs decision are now becoming apparent. Little girls are having to travel out of abortion-restricted states to have incestuous and rape-induced pregnancies terminated. Stories are emerging of women being forced to carry non-viable fetuses to term or having to wait until they are near death before receiving a life-saving abortion. Women and their spouses who want to have kids but need medical assistance to conceive are having difficulty finding IVF doctors because abortion laws are so muddled that there is fear all parties may be charged with murder or manslaughter if the procedures fail.
A lot has happened since Dobbs that continue to scare women… and men, too: Lindsey Grahamcracker is promising to enact a national abortion ban if Republicans take control of the Senate. The right-wingnut side of SCOTUS says they are willing to entertain cases revisiting contraception and gay marriage. GOP leadership is already threatening to use the debt ceiling to hold the country hostage in order to cut Medicare and Social Security benefits.
Perhaps another self-righteous, ignorant, power-hungry Republican will say something stupid in the next two weeks and raise a ruckus, but enough has been said and done already. Women can see beyond inflation and crime statistics that their rights as Americans are threatened and they have a serious choice to make: VOTE BLUE!
The results on November 8th will be deafening!
