Art Cullen, widely respected Editor for the Storm Lake Times Pilot, has an op-ed that was republished in the Washington Post. Since the WP is behind a paywall here's the link to his newspaper. He has been frequently republished in the WP through the years.

While he doesn’t come right out with an endorsement the first paragraph says it all:
Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) faces the challenge of a lifetime — and I mean a lifetime, as he was first elected to public office in 1959 when I was two, and has served in the Senate for four decades — from Democrat Mike Franken, a retired Navy admiral who hung up his commission when Donald Trump was elected and returned home to the Tall Corn State in 2016.
After that it is many of the usual caveats but the short story is that only Mike Franken or death itself are going to beat Chuck Grassley. And it could be Adm. Mike Franken.
Very encouraging for me. Also says that Franken strengths should help Cindy Axne in IA-3. Unfortunately no similar mention of IA-1 or IA-2.
