Help me with my California Ballot [1]

A gorgeous day on the Mendocino Coast

As always, the California ballot contains not only the obvious choices like the statewide offices and legislators, but also a set of propositions and judges where I need to do my homework. Everyone can vote by mail here (or drop off box), so all that’s waiting is a few bits of information.

On my ballot, I have 13 judges to mark and 7 state propositions.

Prop 1 would expressly add the fundamental right to abortion to the California constitution, over and above the privacy rights that have secured it for us. I know how to vote on that one!

Once again, we have kidney dialysis clinics on the ballot. Because reasons?

Anyway! Please discuss below your thoughts on the ballot measures and judges, and on judges especially, any good information sources to consult.

Voting early not only assures your ballot is counted but also means that GOTV resources will skip over you and move on to other voters, so let’s get these in!
