The Best Ad of the Political Season (Redux) [1]

In a nice break from all the hyper-partisan, over-the-top exaggerations and out-and-out lies of this campaign season, NY Assemblyman Al Stirpe’s at it again. Stirpe (pronounced Stirpee), a Democrat, is running for reelection to the New York State Assembly (our state’s lower house of the legislature). To many of us, this is the best political ad on TV here in Central New York (the greater Syracuse area).

Even though he’s used this ad before (during his reelection campaign two years ago), it’s still, far and away...quite effective. In fact, the more obnoxious the other ads get, the more refreshing this seems.
