I'm not lawyer and, dammit, my opinion of the law is still valid! [1]

I've written a couple articles involving legal matters here and as usual has some “people” have given me the usual arrogant, condescending, sneering, nose in the air reply that “Obviously you're not a lawyer so your opinion doesn't matter, you ignorant peasant!”

BULLSHIT!!!

There are matters where an 'uneducated” opinion is largely unimportant, like physics, mathematics, biology and other sciences where the “laws” pertaining to them are not man made but only discovered by man, having been created by the physics of the universe.

Physical laws, as in laws of physics which humans merely discover, aren't up for debate. All the government, judges, lawyers, etc in the world combined cannot change the charge of an electron, the mass of a neutrino or the speed of a photon by 1 millionth of one billionth of one trillionth of 1 percent no matter what they decide and ordain. I've seen the meme where a christian proudly declared that if he found a passage in the bible that said 2+2=5, he would accept it and live as it it were true.

Of course two plus two would still equal 4, no matter how strong his faith and beliefs were. Math can't be altered by rulings be they legislative or 'divine”. Nor can physics, biochemistry, neurology, etc.

The Laws of physics which man merely discovers can't be changed by man. Only people educated in these matters can have relevant opinions and views on them, no matter how much someone would believe that 2+2=5 if he found it written in the bible.

But the laws man writes are a wholly different matter.

Legal laws as opposed to physical laws are nothing but opinions, views, beliefs, etc, generally of those in power at they time they're written. In fact a judge's decisions are actually called “opinions”.

A physicist doesn't have an “opinion” about the value of the gravitational constant, he present facts discovered and verified by scientific methodology. A judge issues an opinion.

The laws man creates are not fixed and unalterable, they are nothing but human views and opinions, mostly of whoever holds power at a given time.

Some will say a law that's unjust must change, but again, justice is just an opinion.

Still some want o act as if the laws man writes are written in stone, handed down from above and only those who have been indoctrinated into the order of lawyers can speak on them in any relevant way. They wrap laws in pseudo Latin terms that are meant to be incomprehensible to msot people, in terminology so convoluted most human minds can;t even begin to process the jargon known as “legalese” even tho is literally dictates so much of their life to them they need to know what it says, so they have to give money to an acolyte of the cult of The Law to tell them what they laws fgoverning their lives mean, and even then another acolyte can challenge them, and a deacon of the cult of The Law decides what a person can, can;t, must and mustn't do based on his opinion, which can be bought thru various means.

So to all those people who thrust their nose skywards and sneer to me that my opinion on the law doesn't matter because I'm not a dues paying member of the cult of The Law, I say “KISS MY ASS!”

Laws are nothing but human opinion and mine is as valid as anyone's who sold their soul for a degree in a field that is nothing but opinions back up by force.

Since laws and justice are purely human concepts, if a majority of people decide a law looks unjust, sounds unjust, acts unjust, feels unjust and smells unjust, then it is indeed unjust no matter what people who have been brainwashed and programmed to be faithful acolytes of the cult of The Law sneeringly tell them
