On the rest of the menu, slavery is on the ballot for voters in five US states; the EPA is conducting a civil rights case that targets Mississippi over the majority-Black state capitol’s deteriorating water system; and, Daniel Smith, one of the last children of enslaved Americans, has died at age ninety.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where at least seven Russians, including the son of a close associate of Putin, were detained by Norwegian officials for flying drones or taking pictures near sensitive areas; and, Russia aimed new legal action at two prominent dissenters.
