Just to start off, I want to note this is me writing in a fit of pique after yet another not-Daily-KOS campaign email. It’s not directed at anyone here, unless you’re one of the people writing the kind of emails I’m talking about, in which case fuck you, get a better line.
My inbox right now. Is so. Full. Of defeatist. Bullshit.

What the fuck is any of this supposed to say to me? Because I can tell you, I got so many of those Mark Kelly emails in one day that I thought he’d died. The Warnock one is on the mild side, but it still feels very ick.
None of this says “hey ho, let’s get to the polls! Let’s talk to our friends! Let’s get shit done!” To me this says “what’s the point in even trying? We’ve already lost.”
Now will I be voting? Of course. Am I talking to friends? Yes! But for all I can tell nobody in the administrations of Democratic senators and representatives fucking wants me to! And I guarantee you less passionate voters, especially among that younger bloc we claim we need so fucking badly, are going to see this and say “why bother?” and stay home.
Stop the bullshit. (Say anything in the comments about my language and watch yourself get ignored into oblivion. I’m from a blue-collar background and I am so pissed off right now. If you think “fuck” is worse than the fat-shaming, antisemitism, and misogyny I’ve seen in the comments on other posts, you need to get your priorities straight.)
We need to get people FIRED UP AND EXCITED to vote. Not boo-hoo them into staying home. Enough is enough.
The Democratic establishment needs to grow a fucking spine, shout its platform as boldly and proudly as the GOP, AND STOP THIS BULLSHIT.
