This is a nice little nature center just a short distance from one of my camping spots in Slidell LA just outside New Orleans. Walking trails and boardwalk.

Some photos from an afternoon walk.

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently in New Orleans.

Hard to tell, but I think these are Red-Eared Sliders

Unfortunately, he was dead. It looked like somebody stepped on him (he’s only six inches or so long).
