Abandoned Three Year Old Girl in Ghana Update [1]

Anabel is a three year old girl in Ghana who was found on the street by street children when her mother was institutionalized for mental illness. The children took her to my friend John, who managed to get her taken in to a baby day care center there and we managed to scrape up the money to pay for them to take her in. So at least for now she is safe.

I posted a story on this earlier.

I thought everyone would like to see a current picture of her. She is safe and doing as well as can be expected. I am hoping to get her some clothes as soon as possible but for now she is off the streets and a lady there is caring for her.

I am worried about her mother. I am not sure of her condition or situation. Ghana is a bad place to be poor and ill. But at least the child is not lost on the streets.
