Friday, at long last!

Time to clean out Pocket, get set for the weekend, and enjoy our brief interlude of relative normalcy, before the whole cycle starts again.

And boy, will it ever start again! Subpoenaing TFG? I don’t know when they think they’ll have the time to work that contempt proceeding out! But I assume they don’t really intend to. At least not any time soon.

Still, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to head into the election season (or, perhaps more likely, the next Congress) with an actual criminal referral in the bag.

If Dems are in the driver’s seat for that, great. If not, then the first act of a new Republican Congress gets to be… dropping criminal charges against Trump.

It’s a look. I wouldn’t want to wear it, but it’s a look.
