Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Americans “have a muscle for authoritarian, fascist, anti-semitic, racist wedge politics.”
Then, on the rest of the menu, the Department of Justice urged the Supreme Court not to intervene in their Trump classified records fight; extreme right-wing PACs are injecting millions of dollars into local school board races; and, a former National Security Agency worker accused of trying to sell classified information to Russia, has been ordered detained while he is prosecuted.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where the leadership of Hockey Canada has stepped down amid an ongoing sexual assault scandal involving the men’s junior team; and, Israel announced an historic agreement with Lebanon on maritime borders.
