Tulsi Gabbard
There are stories I have loved writing, rants that I took to heart about the evils Republicans were unleashing into the world. One of the stories I wrote that took on a life of its own, on the site and off, didn’t involve Republicans. It involved Tulsi Gabbard. She began by getting on a debate stage where she simply did not belong and used her time to trash candidates with what at best could be called an outrageous pack of lies. At the time, I said it was time we all get real about Tulsi Gabbard. Finally, Tulsi Gabbard is at a point where she is willing to get real about herself. Sorry it took you so long Tulsi, the rest of us knew this about you years ago.
When you live your life deciding to be a self-serving pundit who values hearing your own voice in a crowd versus making policy changes that help people, and when you have no problem refusing to denounce your prior views on discrimination, it says a whole lot about who you are, and who you are going to be in the future. Sure, we found out today that we were right, but did anyone really doubt it?
