Minority Leader McConnell;
Republican Senator Tommy “Tubs” Tuberville, the former Auburn University football coach, whose estimated $16 million fortune was built on the backs of Black college athletes, declared at a political rally over the weekend that Democrats promote crime and Blacks cause it.
Moreover, the leader of the Republican Party joined the crowd in its raucous cheers, which leads me to ask three questions.
First, does the Republican Party leader and the honorable senator from Alabama have proof that Democrats support policies or legislation to promote crime?
Second, does the Republican Party disagree with FBI statistics that reveal that white people commit most crimes?
Lastly, do you have anything to say in response, Senator McConnell, or has “Tubs” exposed a fundamental truth about GOP racism, not even you can deny?
