After one false alarm, we have finally found our puppy! The name she came with is Sofy, but we’re debating whether or not to change it. She’s a four-month-old half-miniature-whippet/half-something-else. Not certain, but there may be spew chihuahua in her. She weighs all of 3 lbs; she’s not fully grown yet, but we don’t expect her to get too much bigger. In the day that we’ve had her, she has not so much as barked once. She’s very quiet and very calm. Hubby is a little jealous because she has already bonded with me, as I was the one who held her during the ride home from dog rescue.

She is already house-trained, already spayed, and already had most of her shots. When given the opportunity, she peed and pooped out-of-doors. She loves the outdoors. Walking her around our property, she would occasionally take off and run around. I’ve been told whippets are dogs that need to be run daily. We’ll need to find a place where we can do that.

She’s such a sweetie. she has already wormed her way into our hearts, in less than a day.

So, should we stick with Sofy as her name, or should we try something else? If you have a name to suggest, please put it in the comments.
