Life Post-Roe
Planned Parenthood will begin operating a mobile clinic in Illinois near St. Louis, MO, which will offer examinations and dispense pills for abortions. Illinois has become a regional destination for abortion in the region. Later the clinic may provide surgical abortions as well. There may be other such clinics in the future to operate near red state borders and cut travel time for women who must travel far for abortion care.

Since Dobbs, 66 abortion clinics have closed. There are 14 states where it is almost impossible to get an abortion: Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin. And access is almost as limited in Georgia.

We know there have been cases where women have been denied needed care while having a miscarriage because the pill is used for abortions and they might be prosecuted.
