Protests in Iran, Sept. 21

Songwriter Shervin Hajipour, 25, has reportedly been arrested in Iran.

His song, the title translated in English as "For..." (or "On Behalf Of...") had become the anthem of Iranians standing up in continued protests since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.

Amini was brutally beaten in police custody after her arrest on Sept. 14 for violating Iran's dress code.

The original online posting of Hajipour's song has been taken down, but his artistic achievement escaped custody.
