General Hertling is calling this “mobilization” — the premeditated murder of his own army by Putin. I just think they will run. But he says they already have blocking units out there (RU) — they will shoot them if they try and run. I am sure that is true to some extent but I am also sure they can’t do that with that many of them. Just too many of them.

I sure do see many many fragged officers in RUs future. One of many consequences of this “call-up”. Man I sure wouldn’t want to be a LT there buddy — they will get it from both directions, not sure who to be more afraid of — the Ukrainians or their own soldiers. Been to that show.

It is a really bad idea to put weapons in those kids hands for Putin. They could end up using them alright, just not the way he thinks.

They are already deploying them to the front and Ukraine is already killing and capturing them. I get the impression Ukraine feels sorry for the poor bastards. I feel sorry for them. They don’t get the hell out of there and they are so dead and it is so not their war.

Probably they would be better off killing their officers and run or surrender — at least I think so but it was a very long time ago. Could be an “I am taking you with me” kind of thing anyway for some in the end. But who knows what it is really like in their lines.

Pretty big advantage for them that they can blend into the population — none of my family had in our wars. Yeah — they should kill their officers and take off like a rabbit — probably their best chance to not get killed. I think that is what I would do — once death just becomes more “normal”. It does eventually for everyone in those moments there — as long as it is not your death. And there will come a point when you even write yourself off too. Then it gets real fucking dangerous for their officers man.

I have already said just why I think this call up is so stupid — some of the reasons. There are more — like you could write a book.
