Those poor folk in Florida, tasked with an asshole, nasty, and otherwise reprehensible governator, and now having to deal with life changing storm that may, no, WILL take months, years, to fix.
They expect professionalism from a guy who kidnapped immigrants from Texas, just to seriously, perhaps, criminally overpay for flights (flown by a major contributor) to the northeast. Spending millions in the process. But will DeathSantis actually provide professional help and administration?
Two points, no three, I wish to make:
a. The media is missing this YUGE story. Yet another example of the myopic, bothsiderism crap-4-profit, corporate media which drives a lot of today’s political discussion,
b. Florida is incapable of dealing with this Ianic storm. No state, alone could. So the feds have and will continue to provide support, aid and more to Florida, despite how loathsome Deathsantis is. Good for federal government.
c. Deathsantis will never, ever, thank the feds, nor Biden for being professional in these circumstances. If he were president, does anyone actually expect him to quietly, professionally order support and aide to a liberal state in dire need? I think not.
