So, the Gators Think They're Playing Sunday. [1]

Is this tone deaf, or is it just me? The Florida Gators have moved a game against Eastern Washington from the scheduled 12:00 pm start on Saturday to a 12:00pm start on Sunday. Ian is coming ashore somewhere around Ft. Myers, head right for Orlando, then Jacksonville, and onward. They’re calling for up to 2’ of rain in the Orlando area (and all around), sustained wind of 50-60 mph and guts to 80 mph.

Gainesville, FL isn’t that far from Orlando (97 miles). I sat through 60-70 mph gusts with Michael, and nowhere near 2’ of rain. And that was bad, with the destruction.

Hell, 60% of the state may not have power come Sunday.
