Good morning, Cafe! Grab a seat and a cuppa, maybe something nice to nosh, and see what cool bits I’ve gathered.

All are welcome to join the fun, the silliness, the conversations. If you don’t know...just ask! Some things really do require a bit of explanation. There will be a few surprises along the way, all good ones, we hope. We are here to keep building the Daily Kos Community. We post Mon-Sun at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. Pie fights will be met with outrageous ridicule and insults. Trolls will be incinerated and served at the next group BBQ. As briquettes.

Many of us still have our vinyl record collections, so I found this to be very interesting.

You just never know what you’ll find, going for a walk!

We think of our pooties and woozles and birds as treasures. Some foolish humans don’t. So this treasure is here, and I hope it touches your heart as it did mine.

Sweet dreams are made of this….as long as you’re not afraid of heights!!

How is this even possible??

Once a vessel for sacred oil or water, they were moved to the Hagia Sophia in the reign of Sultan Murad III.

On Sunday, I included an ad for shoes and purses. Today, here are some shoes from “back in the day.” The ones on the lower left look suspiciously like a pair I had in the 70s!!

I’ve always wanted something like this….although I’d never be able to use it, now, unless I went up and down on all fours!! LOLOLOL

And finally….I’m no expert, but I know art when I see it!

What’s on your mind this morning?
