What if . . . when choosing to vote Democrat or Republican [1]

I hope this edit is clearer.

What if Republicans who vote nothing but Republican no matter what, instead stopped beforehand to think in terms of compassion, common sense, decency, honesty, integrity, sanity, justice, human rights, freedom, and democracy?

What if they recognized that their Republican choice on the ballot was selfishness, lies, misinformation, no healthcare choice for women, no marriage choice, no LGBTQIA+ protection, no support for veterans, read only the books I let you, teach in public schools only what I tell you, do it my way or the highway?

Would they, then, vote for the Democrat?

I am a U.S. Air Force veteran, an Asian and Pacific Islander, and a Democrat running for Virginia’s House District 50 seat in 2023 to not only unseat the long-time Republican incumbent who voted against ratifying the ERA, LGBTQIA+ protections, marriage equality, and a higher minimum wage, but also to keep in check our Republican Governor when I am elected. My district has changed, and I need to reach voters who are unfamiliar with me. I am unashamedly and unapologetically asking for campaign donations from Daily Kos readers and their fans. My initial goal is to raise $10,000 by December 30, 2022.

It is high time we elected compassion, common sense, decency, honesty, integrity, sanity, justice, human rights, freedom, and democracy for Virginia House District 50, and your donations will help. Thank you.
