What time is it, boys and girls?
Things are going well in Russian recruitment offices. This happened in Ust-Ilimsk.
x YouTube Video
At a bus station in Russia, a man sets himself on fire to protest the mobilization. The video ends right as he starts the fire.
x ‼️This video might disturb you, though it has been cut.
The man who set himself in fire was diagnosed with 90% of body burns. This happened at a bus station in Ryazan, #Russia. Eye-witnesses reported him shouting that he doesn’t want to take part in the war against #Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/XR7RGHdWA9 — Hanna Liubakova (@HannaLiubakova) September 26, 2022
This guy says he came for the Motherland, but fuck it, there’s no beds so he’s going home.
x No beds for mobiks, this one refuses to stay and decides to go home. Hey, at least it looks like it's quite dry in there! pic.twitter.com/YRJ38bGRpT — Dmitri (@wartranslated) September 26, 2022
These recruits are told they need to bring their own medical supplies with them, including pads and tampons. That’s how you treat wounds in the Russian Army — with tampons.
x Newly mobilized Russians are told what they need to take to the war. Spoiler - pads and tampons.

Mobilization is so popular in Siberia that people have taken to the streets in dance.
x Demonstrators in eastern Siberia turned to traditional song and dance to protest Russia’s mobilization of more troops against Ukraine.
More than 20 people were reportedly detained after the demonstration.

Remember those prison inmates that Wagner was recruiting with promises of freedom? Seems to me the plan was to get rid of them by sending them to the front to either be killed or become Ukraine’s problem as POWs.
x "Wagner’s forces attack only so far before sending inmates with little support forward to face Ukrainian guns like 'cannon fodder'...tactics have left Ukrainian forces in the region with a flood of prisoners as the inmates frequently surrender." @Tmgneff

Some words of encouragement for new recruits.
x The Deputy Mufti of the Muftiat of Crimean Tatars with a message to the Tatars & all other Muslims that the Russian Army is trying to mobilize:
“Become a deserter, and if that isn’t possible and & are sent to the frontlines, turn your weapons instead against the… you know who”. pic.twitter.com/Y7cYlBgrTH — Visegrád 24 (@visegrad24) September 26, 2022
Here’s a newly minted Russian citizen just waiting for a rifle and a bus ride to the front.
x Update: Now that former NSA contractor Edward Snowden is officially Russian, he “may well be conscripted to fight in Russia’s war in Ukraine,” State Department spokesperson Ned Price said Monday.

Meanwhile, back at the front, these guys are coming to the realization that they are cannon fodder. No food or other supplies, just rifles and ammos, taking incoming mortar rounds and “nobody gives a fuck about us.”
x Soldiers, most likely L/DPR guys, are sitting in the forest on the frontline, complaining about how they were dumped with no food or water, only with assault rifles. pic.twitter.com/NTR4RhNS6j — Dmitri (@wartranslated) September 26, 2022
What amazes me about these videos is how the drone can apparently just hover there without being seen, drop a bomb and hit the center of the engine hood.

Russian commanders go boom.
x Another possible reason for Ukraine's success in Kharkiv: a HIMARS strike on the 35th Combined Arms Army HQ before the offensive. Yury Butusov says that the Russian 35th CAA was responsible for the part of the front where Ukraine's breakthrough occurred.

Iranian drones have hit Odesa recently but didn’t fare so well on this night. But this guy slept right through all the excitement.

Speaking of Iranian drones.
x Ukraine destroyed the Russian command center for drones in Kherson region, south of the Dnipr river.

Whoever was in this car that was blown apart might be hard to find.
x A car was blown up in Melitopil. The force of the explosion broke the car into 2 parts. One person known to be killed. The incident took place on Lomonosov street. There is no more detailed information yet. pic.twitter.com/cAOiBh3Op8 — Special Kherson Cat 🐈🇺🇦 (@bayraktar_1love) September 25, 2022
And finally, since Christmas is a mere three months away.
