Ken Paxton is leaving home to evade from subpoena involving a lawsuit over abortion [1]

Who says that fleeing from trouble is only reserved for people like OJ Simpson and Ted Cruz?
On Monday morning, Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton (R) left his McKinney home. During that time, Ernesto Martin Herrera, a process server, tried to hand Paxton a subpoena, which involves a federal class-action lawsuit involving the potential of prosecuting anyone that assists in helping and transporting a woman out of Texas in order for her to have an abortion procedure. His wife, Angela Paxton, would later follow Ken in fleeing the house.
When Herrera arrived at Paxton’s home in McKinney on Monday morning, he told a woman who identified herself as Angela that he was trying to deliver legal documents to the attorney general. She told him that Paxton was on the phone and unable to come to the door. Herrera said he would wait. Nearly an hour later, a black Chevrolet Tahoe pulled into the driveway, and 20 minutes after that, Ken Paxton exited the house. “I walked up the driveway approaching Mr. Paxton and called him by his name. As soon as he saw me and heard me call his name out, he turned around and RAN back inside the house through the same door in the garage,” Herrera wrote in the sworn affidavit. Angela Paxton then exited the house, got inside a Chevrolet truck in the driveway, started it and opened the doors. “A few minutes later I saw Mr. Paxton RAN from the door inside the garage towards the rear door behind the driver side,” Herrera wrote. “I approached the truck, and loudly called him by his name and stated that I had court documents for him. Mr. Paxton ignored me and kept heading for the truck.”
Ken Paxton fired back at the subpoena on Twitter, in addition to taking shots at “the media”.

Ken Paxton may not be a fan of women fleeing the state for an abortion, but he sure likes to flee from subpoenas!

But even if Paxton is indicted for securities fraud, in addition to being investigated by the FBI for bribery, abuse of office, and various other crimes, he has yet to lag on any polls for the upcoming November election, where he faces Democrat Rochelle Garza for the Texas Attorney General race. Although some polls indicate a close race, the fact that people will still vote for Paxton to “own the libs” is still mind-boggling.
