Trump and the Threat of Political Violence
Did Trump send another dog whistle to some of his deranged followers? It sure feels like it. Given that he is cornered by a number of legal maneuvers, he might think that lashing out is the only recourse left to him.
Even if some political violence occurs — no one wishes it, nor hopes it happens — it is very likely to backfire in the political arena.
