COUNTRY OVER PARTY: Liz Cheney will support Democrats but goes much deeper! [1]

Congresswoman Liz Cheney did not pull any punches in Texas. She seems to be continuing to put country over party. We can't know the congresswoman's heart. We must judge her by her deeds in these dangerous times.

Liz Cheney appeared at The Texas Tribune, where she made quite a bit very clear. She continues to speak clearly and unequivocally.
The Texas Tribune CEO asked Cheney if she would campaign for gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs in Arizona.
“I'm going to do everything I can,” Cheney said. “To make sure that Kari Lake is not elected.”
She confirmed if it requires campaigning for Democrats, then she said she will. He then asked if she would remain a Republican regardless of what happens in the next election.
“I'm going to make sure Donald Trump, make sure he's not the nominee,” Cheney said. “And if he is the nominee, I won't be a Republican.”
She also said that she will do whatever it takes to ensure Donald Trump isn't anywhere close to the Oval Office.
Many may believe Liz Cheney is making a bet that the fever will break, that the hold Donald Trump has on the minds of many will subside. If Democrats do not draw the stark distinction between Democratic policies and Republican orthodoxy, she may have gained enough goodwill that gives some Democrats “permission to try” her. She bucked her party. Maybe she will be willing to buck their policies when enlightened. After all, the stash of neoliberals in the Democratic Party has been immutable. Maybe she can light a fire under them to change to justify their keep when folk sees too many economic similarities.
