If you've seen him on his many television appearances, you may get a glimpse of his humor, but on Twitter...
I don’t know about you, but I follow dozens of historians on Twitter. They’re more grounded in reality than pundits. Some (historians) are dry and deliver the facts as the unvarnished facts history gives us. No distortions, no interpretations. Just facts. Others present things with a dash of personality.
IMHO, on Twitter Michael Beschloss lets loose. It’s been my experience that he has two or three gems a day. Amongst all the noise that is Twitter they can be easy to miss. Look for them. We can all use a laugh or a chuckle. History with a twist of humor is a load lightener.
Some of his best humor are ones where you may not be sure if he’s just delivering facts or a humorous dig. Either way you’ll get a laugh.

History repeats. Or at least rhymes.
x In this 1974 Herblock cartoon, President Nixon says to Republicans, "Listen, are you going to be loyal to me or to that (expletive deleted) Constitution?" pic.twitter.com/xZfomybiOD — Michael Beschloss (@BeschlossDC) September 17, 2022
Others recognize the humor and shade @BeschlossDC provides.
If you’re on Twitter and don’t follow Beschloss, you should.
