O'zapft is!

After two years off because of Covid, Oktoberfest is back! And more expensive than ever:

The price of beer at Oktoberfest 2022 will range from €12.60 to €13.80 [per liter], an average of 15.77 percent more than in 2019.

Actually €13/liter compares well to $8/pint at most bars around here (plus tax and tip!), and Americans there are really getting a bargain with the Euro under $1 for the first time I can remember.

I’m starting with Paulaner Oktoberfest but there’s only one of those cold, I’ll probably stay in Munich with a Hacker-Pschorr weissbier next. What are you drinking? Who’s brewing?
