It’s an about-Stacey Abrams diary, (much more pleasant in my view).

As stated in the link, Stacey Abrams “knows exactly how many votes she lost by in 2018 to Gov Kemp……..54,723.” (And surprisingly, she didn’t ask the SOS to “find” those votes so she could be declared the winner. Oh wait……..Kemp was the Secretary of State running for Governor at the time! My bad.)

As she has indicated before, Ms Abrams knows that there are many Black voters among the 1.6 million new voters added to the Georgia rolls since 2018, (a good number of which, she and The New Georgia Project, Black Voters Matter, Fair Fight and others got registered throughout the last 4 years.)

So once again, BIPOC voters-especially Black male voters- most certainly can deliver Georgia to Democrats again. The question is (as stated in the article), will they?

I love what I’m seeing and hearing about Stacey’s outreach to ALL voters. But as the immutable Roland Martin said on a recent appearance on Tiffany Cross’ show, she must increase her outreach to Black males. (My brothers can be a bit misogynistic at times, truth be told) It seems the brilliant Ms. Abrams is doing just that.

While I’m encouraged that Georgia seems to be holding pretty steady as a purple island in the sea of red southern states, I still have to remember that MTG is a member of Congress representing GA, that Hershel Walker is statistically tied with Senator Warnock, and that too many remnants of the old south still remain there.

However, if anybody can win there, in spite of it all, it’s Stacey Abrams. Brothers, will y’all give the sista a hand and #VOTEBLUE? And #VOTEEARLY!!
