As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. Greetings, Friends. Welcome to another Saturday! Today, I have a bit of Star Trek Trivia for those of you who are fans. As it turns out, Ann Magnuson, who plays everyone’s least favorite Admiral (Seen above) has been a trekie from way back. Back in the 1980’s. she was a part of a faux metal band called “Vulcan Death Grip”. I say faux metal band, because their performances were so over blown as to be satirical. Though many people who saw their stage acts believed they were sincere. Having watched several of their videos, i am of the opinion that the best thing about the act is Magnuson’s flaming red hair!
