We need to do more than “Kvetch” [1]

Who doesn't want to pull the covers over their head these days? The best antidote to despair is action. Register voters. Remind everyone you meet to vote in November. Donate. All our actions can add up and we can make a difference.

The world is so full of malevolent actors

and there are so many crises, due to so many factors

(even my baseball team’s at the bottom of the league!)

It’s surely causing many people crisis fatigue.

There’s that orange guy who thinks he should be a king

and Graham (et al) who want to kiss his proverbial ring.

There’s Putin’s war and his threats of even worse violence

and for sure, the affront of Republican leadership silence.

Then, of course, the environment and pollution

So… is putting our heads in the sand any solution?

We’ve got to do more than just “kvetch” and just vent

So much to think about…can we just make a dent?
