Boebert and “The Producers”. [1]

I was reading some of the Reddit posts that showed Lauren Boebert giving a speech, reading from the Bible and then expressing her ignorance on the meaning of the word “wanton”

Now the definition of wanton is of a cruel or violent action, deliberate or unprovoked. I am surprised that Lauren Boebert doesn’t know the definition of wanton but she did manage to make a stupid joke about wontons.

Then I had a thought about Lauren Boebert; could it be possible that when she was an unlicensed escort and met Ted Cruz when she was escorting a Koch family member and Cruz suggested that she run for Congress that she ran as a grift?



I was thinking of “The Producers” and how they raised much more money than they needed to put on a Broadway play. “Springtime for Hitler” had a terrible writer, a terrible director, a terrible cast and just a terrible play. It was doomed to failure, until somebody in the audience stood up and said, “Now I get it, this is a comedy!” Suddenly, the show was a hit and there was no possible way the producers could pay their backers.



I wonder if Lauren thought, “These rich people want to give me money to run for Congress. I can take the money and when I lose, I can keep the money and nobody will care!” But she didn’t lose, either the primary or the general election. I would bet she was as surprised as anybody else.



But instead of doing the smart thing and keeping her head down to not draw attention to herself, she makes a spectacle of herself almost daily. Getting herself removed from all committee assignments would of been a genius move (had she done it on purpose). That way she has nothing to do all day but sit on her ass in her office, waiting to cast her vote in the House of Representatives.



Unfortunately for Lauren, she is like the gambler that stays at the craps table too long. I think she either started to believe her own line of bullshit or she thinks she can keep the same grift going forever. Lauren is a one trick pony. Lauren doesn’t realize that her act is wearing thin and people are getting tired of her act because she is not a legislator, she is a performance artist and she needs to change her act now and then. The people of her district don’t really care, even though she doesn’t bring any money into her house district, but the FEC does and if she keeps drawing attention to herself she will be investigated for mishandling election donations.

Now, if she had been quiet and kept her mouth shut, she could have held that House seat and nobody would have really given her a second look. She could hold it for decades if she was quiet, she still may possibly hold that seat for a long time, but she will have legal bills accumulate because she must be the center of attention.



Now, do I think her entire political career is one big grift? To answer; I don’t think she is that smart but I do think she is that stupid. If she were smart, she would fly beneath the radar and be very quiet. If she is stupid, she will keep drawing attention to herself, like she is doing and people will get tired of her antics.



Lauren Boebert, when the MAGA movement dies, you will go with it. You may hold your seat but you will never be able to build any influence within the halls of Congress and you will never have any real influence on any national policy. You will never have any lasting achievements. Your entire career will be nothing more than a tiny footnote in any encyclopedia.
