I live in rural Michigan. I’ve become used to driving past Trump signs, flags and assorted other proudly displayed signs of political allegiance on a daily basis. Well ,today I drove along a main road I hadn’t for a week or two, and was surprised to see most of the houses and farms along the route had removed their Trump and Gadsden flags. A pickup sized Trump sign emblazoned with a spray painted “Let’s Go, Brandon!” along the bottom was removed from the roadside and left leaning upside-down against the garage.
Not all of the “warning signs” (as in posting that “TRUMP 2024” sign is a warning to all that you are an idiot and possibly unstable) are gone, but it’s happening. It’s a visible indicator that people are waking up, just a bit, and choosing to no longer be public in their support of the worst person to ever occupy the Oval Office.
It’s a small change, but very welcome to see, and make my commute so much nicer.
