Musings for Friday - I Was Wrong, Or Should I Say Off With Last Weeks Post? [1]

mea culpa a formal acknowledgment of personal fault or error
Last week I thought it would take some incredible action or words from FPOTUS to take focus away from QEII’s funeral coverage. I was off a bit. It wasn’t necessarily his action but that of Judge Aileen Cannon that has kept FPOTUS in the headlines. It could be argued that his action of putting Cannon on the bench is still his action, but I would argue that FPOTUS didn’t know who Cannon was before Leo Leonard, the Federalist Society and Mitch McConnell put her name before him and she was confirmed AFTER the election. That allowed him to recognize she was as corruptible an individual as Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett.
IANAL so I won’t attempt to make any legal argument about what has gone on in Cannon’s Court and her decisions. There are tons of qualified attorneys and former DOJ prosecutors out there making those arguments. I’ll provide a short list. But let’s just say, that once again FPOTUS is benefitting from the corruption of others.
