This quote by the South Carolina Republican is a tacit acknowledgement that the MAGA crowd is cut from the same cloth as the original Nazis of the 1930’s and 1940s. MAGAs, like their Nazi forefathers, lack the judgement, character and knowledge to discriminate between good and evil. This is the effective claim of Sen Graham, and he would know. Good people are appalled by murder. Evil people enjoy it. Good people root for the good guys whereas bad ones feel a kinship with others who are as rotten as themselves. Case in point: Trump’s vocal and unashamed love for the mass murderers Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.
If he could kill 50 people deliberately and be supported still, he could kill millions and never be stopped. Hitler more or less did this himself in the Night of the Long Knives. The MAGA folks project much of their intentions on to innocents. Someone should ask Senator Graham why nobody made this claim of Ronald Reagan and why all this talk now about murder? Never before has a candidate or a party asked people to imagine that their candidate commit a murder. Trump stands alone in American history on that point.
Hitler laid out his plans early in Mein Kampf, yet people were both shocked and appalled that he actually intended to carry out his crimes. People should not be shocked by the notion that Trump would fatally corrupt this country to the point of destruction. When people show you who they are you should believe them.
