“From the makers of Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and Trolls, comes an extraordinary exhibition celebrating over 25 years of DreamWorks Animation.”

In 2002, DreamWorks produced Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Set in the nineteenth century, Spirit is a courageous and fiery Mustang stallion who is the leader of the Cimarron herd. The film is a hybrid of traditional hand-drawn and Computer Generated (CG) animation.

According to the display:

“Departing from the anthropomorphic approach of many other animal-centred films, DreamWorks Animation chose to portray Spirit as if he were a real horse living in the Wild West. While voice actor Matt Damon occasionally narrates Spirit’s thoughts, most of Spirit’s personality is communicated through the animation.”
